Bar Chair PIRST - unusual, but very practical and impressive plywood seat! Chair PIRST improves ventilation and possibly treats cellulite. The chair is highly recommended for women and men of all ages.
The Design
Pirst, the seat is open, made of proportionally smaller rectangular frames, which cast a shadow forming the graphic image of a labyrinth. A universal chair is very comfortable to sit on for a longer period of time, because it lessens the gravitational load, graphic seat partitions do indeed improve ventilation and even perform a light massage so you don't have to change sitting position often. All chairs are stackable in order to save space, whereas they may be used as a shelving system as well.
The initial idea for this piece of furniture was inspired by a client’s request for a seat to be created for a bathroom, this is why it has a flat plane for a seat, and is made of waterproof materials: birch plywood and stainless steel. Later, the designer created several variations of this piece of furniture: a bar stool, a bench for two PIRSTPIRST, and a shelving unit.
The chair PIRST designed by Dalius Razauskas has already represented Lithuania all around the world in cities such as Tokyo, Singapore or New York, expressed the national traits of sitting and has received quite a few design awards for its uniqueness. Moreover, PIRST is exhibited at the Applied Arts and Design Museum in Vilnius as a design piece that has become a history of Lithuanian design culture.

The Designer
Dalius Razauskas studied at the Stepas Žukas School of Applied Arts in Kaunas (1988), where he explored the subtleties of artistic glass, and also in the Department of Design at the Vilnius Academy of Arts (1993). Dalius is a co-founder and creative director of the design studio KiTAIP and works as a furniture, interior and jewellery designer, and regularly participates in exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad.
About the Studio
KiTAIP is a furniture design and manufacturing company well known for its stunning design pieces such as PIRST or multifunctional PILL. Apart from creation of unique designs KiTAIP is mainly occupied with individual interior and furniture projects. KiTAIP designs and constructs, manufactures and installs unique furniture for houses, flats, working spaces, medical offices, classrooms and laboratories. Also has a series of standard furniture for the living room and bathroom.

II. WHAT DATA DO WE PROCESS?
We process your e-mail address as well as any other personal data that can be deduced from your e-mail address if you provide us with your e-mail address yourself after scanning a QR code on Please have a seat.
III. WHY DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?
We transfer your personal data to the exhibitors of your choice to enable them to contact you about the products you are interested in and send you commercial messages. When you scan the QR code of an exhibitor of your choice, you indicate that you wish to be kept informed of the activities of that exhibitor. The exhibitors use these data to inform you about matters which could be of interest to you.
The processing of these data is based on your consent. You are free to choose to provide us with your personal data for this purpose, and you may withdraw your consent at any time (cf. Question VII).
IV. WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Except for the transfer of your personal data to the exhibitors of your choice, Biennale BV does not transfer any personal data to third parties or engage third parties (processors) to carry out certain (processing) activities.
V. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Biennale BV will take appropriate organisational and technical measures, taking into account the state of the art, the nature of processing and the potential risks, to protect your personal data in the best way possible from destruction, loss, modification or any other unauthorised processing.
Biennale BV does not store your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which they are processed, taking into account the legal retention obligations.
For example, your personal data transferred for the purpose of enabling the exhibitors to contact you will only be stored until the time that Biennale BV has provided the personal data to the exhibitors after the end of the event.
VI. DO WE TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA?
Biennale BV does not process your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
VII. HOW CAN YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS?
You have the right to request free access to the personal data processed by Biennale BV, to request the correction or removal of your data or to request a restriction of the processing. You may also request the portability of your data and you may object to the processing of your personal data, without substantiation in the case of direct marketing, or substantiated in other cases.
When the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before the withdrawal.
