The WOGG 72 lounger is both modern and timeless in expression. Due to its simplicity, it fits into any living environment and yet retains the character of a solitaire. The lounger has an ingenious and invisible mechanism. This means that the lying surface is infinitely adjustable and remains in any position.
On the art of being well furnished – better lounging
WOGG develops furniture that stands out for its unusual construction and materiality. Every model is based on engineering knowledge and uses materials that have been manufactured in novel ways.
To say “There are many loungers out there; none of them are good” would be a bold hypothesis. Then again, if everything were perfect, there would be no point in making new designs. WOGG 72 combines the best ingredients for a relaxing lie-down in a new way: thanks to a clever new mechanism, users can change their position effortlessly and smoothly with just a slight shift of their weight.
Always analysing, seeking inspiration and rethinking, product designer Christophe Marchand has been perfecting his concept of contemporary lounge furniture for years. This piece can be infinitely adjusted, just like the design classic LC4, and is as slender as Marten van Severens MVS Chaise, which puts it in the same league as two iconic chaise lounge designs in terms of look and feel. And yet it is completely different. WOGG 72 builds on a clever new technological advancement: a tilting mechanism hidden discreetly in the centre axis. The arm rests provide support and a place for the arms to relax. “For me beauty lies in comfort, not appearances,” says Marchand.

Christophe Marchand is a product designer and the creative director at WOGG. He has designed a wide range of internationally successful pieces of furniture and accessories. He is in charge of the company’s creative and product development. WOGG 72 is a piece of upholstered furniture with a clever construction designed to accommodate users’ individual needs. We process your e-mail address as well as any other personal data that can be deduced from your e-mail address if you provide us with your e-mail address yourself after scanning a QR code on Please have a seat.
III. WHY DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?
We transfer your personal data to the exhibitors of your choice to enable them to contact you about the products you are interested in and send you commercial messages. When you scan the QR code of an exhibitor of your choice, you indicate that you wish to be kept informed of the activities of that exhibitor. The exhibitors use these data to inform you about matters which could be of interest to you.
The processing of these data is based on your consent. You are free to choose to provide us with your personal data for this purpose, and you may withdraw your consent at any time (cf. Question VII).
IV. WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Except for the transfer of your personal data to the exhibitors of your choice, Biennale BV does not transfer any personal data to third parties or engage third parties (processors) to carry out certain (processing) activities.
V. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Biennale BV will take appropriate organisational and technical measures, taking into account the state of the art, the nature of processing and the potential risks, to protect your personal data in the best way possible from destruction, loss, modification or any other unauthorised processing.
Biennale BV does not store your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which they are processed, taking into account the legal retention obligations.
For example, your personal data transferred for the purpose of enabling the exhibitors to contact you will only be stored until the time that Biennale BV has provided the personal data to the exhibitors after the end of the event.
VI. DO WE TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA?
Biennale BV does not process your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
VII. HOW CAN YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS?
You have the right to request free access to the personal data processed by Biennale BV, to request the correction or removal of your data or to request a restriction of the processing. You may also request the portability of your data and you may object to the processing of your personal data, without substantiation in the case of direct marketing, or substantiated in other cases.
When the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before the withdrawal.
