Coordination Berlin / Germany

COORDINATION Berlin: X-Bock. When Form Follows Freshness. The debut of a new member of the much awarded Thread Family, a set of height-adjustable furniture pieces. The main feature is the lathed 40 mm thread cut from American Walnut, while the steel base is welded from precision tubes, inspired by high quality bicycle frames. As the name implies, the X-Bock is an x-shaped adjustable trestle concept, referencing basic rural structures, workshop equipment and transportation metaphors and translating these culturally common denominators into a fresh and ergonomic design proposal. The resulting geometry seems logic at first sight, but has not been used before.
