AERO-1946 (Rolf Bauche & Reinhard Cramer): Wellblech. When Form Follows Frustration. A pioneering dieselpunk collection that was born from the frustration that Wellblech or corrugated sheet metal hardly inspired any interesting furniture.interesting firniture in its two centuries of existence. Next to a cabinet a Wellblech-Hocker made from self fabricated aluminum sheet is meant to be the first step in a toolbox for the use of the material in furniture.: “We are not timeless. We won’t save the world. We look in the past, and not just into the future. To us, Bauhaus is just a house. Ten Commands of Good Design are too small in number, for a world that is multi-faceted. We only act in one of its alcoves. With loads of fun and curiosity we combine technical babbittry with a healthy madness. And maybe some of this is still to be found in our objects”.
