Exhibition by curator Joseph Grima
The British architect and author Joseph Grima (Space Caviar), curator of the cultural programme of INTERIEUR 2014, will confront visitors of the Biennale with an investigation into the essence and meaning of our home, titled 'The home does not exist'.
Located at the central Rambla in Kortrijk Xpo, SQM: Treatre of everyday life will explore themes in historical and contemporary domesticity. The exhibition will be built as a large architectural installation of Prokoss structural elements, allowing visitors to navigate a dense landscape of artefacts, images, stories, music, and film. The installation will also include a children’s play area and climbing paths that bring visitors up into the skylights of the Rambla for a unique Biennale Interieur experience.
Kindly supported by Prokoss.
